Recommendation - Joan Tobey

To Whom It May Concern:

I have had the pleasure of working with Robbin while I was a commissioner and President of the Tarpon Springs Housing Authority and its sister, the Local Community Housing Corporation. I have also known her as a fellow Rotarian and have seen her living our motto of "Service Above Self".

In her professional role as the Executive Director of the Housing Authority, we all found her to be excellent. She was in an unusual situation in that she managed and administered both corporations. Her financial expertise was evident in managing operational budgets, financial reports and all fiscal audits.

For over 20 years the Housing Authority and the city had sought to replace a blighted area of public housing called Mango Circle. Thanks to Robbin's determination, knowledge and ability to work with HUD and the developers it has been replace with even more housing units in a beautiful place called Eagle Ridge. I am proud to show off this development as well as all the others she has improved.

The programs run by the Local Community Housing Corporation are funded by grants, for which Robbin was the sole grant writer. Her heart is in this community, especially the youngest members. She helped develop the programs and the personnel to make the Cops and Kids Program and site the stellar place it is in our town.

Her skills and accomplishments are too numerous to list here and I would be willing to expound on them more if you have questions.
